Paddy sowed on muddy roads in protest

Marpalli: Villagers in the district have been facing hardships due to incessant rains for the past four days. Mud roads in the villages turned slushy and commuting has become difficult.

The mud roads in Kalkhoda village in the mandal resemble agriculture fields. Despite several representations, no authority seemed to be bothered at all.

Expressing ire over the indifference of officials, youth from the village took up a unique protest. They planted paddy on the roads to express their anger. Srinkanth, Anjaneyulu, Vijay and Mahesh were present.
