Parks not properly maintained at Dr AS Rao Nagar

Dr AS Rao Nagar: Residents of Swamik Nagar in Dr AS Rao Nagar are worried over the unhygienic condition of their colony park. There are other parks adjacent to the area that are also in need of attention by the officials. The common problem in every park is untrimmed bushes, unattended garbage, broken pathways, broken benches and poor illumination.

The condition of these GHMC parks has turned from bad to worse due to lack of proper maintenance. Sakshi M, a resident, said, "This is the only park in this area. More than a park, it has become a dump yard. This is resulting in breeding of mosquitoes and unpleasant smell throughout the day." Adding to this, the absence of streetlights and bad roads is causing a lot of inconvenience.
