Photography Day celebrated grandly
On the occasion of World Photography Day, Telangana Photojournalists Association (TPJA) announced its annual photography contest for photojournalists across Telangana state.
Khairatabad: On the occasion of World Photography Day, Telangana Photojournalists Association (TPJA) announced its annual photography contest for photojournalists across Telangana state. The awards for best entries were presented at the special programme on World Photography Day on Monday held at Ravindra Bharthi.
As many as 160 photographers from across 33 districts in Telangana participated in the competition and around 1,060 entries under 9 categories were received, out of which 572 were selected for a special photography exhibition.
V Srinivas Goud, Minister of Exercise and Tourism, presented the awards to the winners along with G Bhaskar, President Telangana Photojournalist Association (TJPA) and Allam Narayana, Chairman Press Academy.
