Uppal: The strike launched by RTC workers entered tenth day on Monday. Extending support to RTC workers, all party leaders joined in the protest conducted at Uppal depot on Monday. Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy and BJP state vice president Kompalli Mohan Reddy participated in the protest.

Blaming the TRS government for the suicides, Revanth said, "Nine suicides committed during agitation are State murders. KCR has forgotten the promises he made at the time of election.

Talasani, Errabelli and Puvvada are talking senseless." Further, he said, "50,000 RTC employees starved on Dussehra. There are no "Palle Velugu" buses in the city. KCR is misusing Rs 2,500 crore PF amount and Rs 1 lakh crore RTC amount."

Demanding ex-gratia for suicide victims, Kompalli Mohan Reddy said, "KCR used RTC workers at the time of Telangana movement and is now refusing to fulfil their demands after forming the government. It has become the cause for their deaths.

He demanded that the State government give Rs 50 lakh ex-gratia for the families of Komarayya and Srinivas Reddy." The support to RTC workers would continue, he added.

Boduppal BJP general secretary Dasari Mahesh Yadav, K Gurnadha Rao, former corporator Parameshwar Reddy, Dharma Reddy, Lakshmayya, Radhika Reddy, Maheshwar, worker JAC leaders and activists from several parties participated in the protest.
