Polling staff who abstain from duty to face action
Dana Kishore, the District Election Officer, has warned all the election staff that if anyone would be absconding from the duties would be liable for punishments according to their departments.
Hyderabad: Dana Kishore, the District Election Officer, has warned all the election staff that if anyone would be absconding from the duties would be liable for punishments according to their departments. He also proposed the same to the concern officials and recommended to do the same in their respective department.
He also said a few Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers were absent for the training session. Also a few POs and APOs abstained from their respective election duties on Wednesday.
The POs and the APOs who had failed to appear for election duty on Wednesday were asked to report to their respective DRC centers by 7 am on Thursday, failing which they will be liable to stringent actions by the higher authorities.
