Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University to offer PG in Vegetable Science
The 11th Academic Council meeting of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) was held on Thursday. The council discusses about introduction of new courses in the university and gave approval for PG (Vegetable Science).
Rajendranagar: The 11th Academic Council meeting of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) was held on Thursday. The council discusses about introduction of new courses in the university and gave approval for PG (Vegetable Science).
Held under the chairmanship of Dr V Praveen Rao, the Vice-Chancellor PJTSAU, several internal and external academic council members attended the meeting. They discussed various issues including introduction of M Sc (Horticulture) in vegetable science course and several issues of administrative matters came into discussion.
The academic council gave in-principle approval for the introduction of PG course in Vegetable Science. The VC suggested to the university head of the horticulture department and other officers to study various aspects regarding the syllabus, nomenclature of the course etc in other horticultural universities in the country. Dr S Sudheer Kumar, Registrar, and deans of various faculties were also present.
