Protest against GHMC garbage vehicle entry

Residents of Saibabanagar staged a dharna on Friday after they found a GHMC garbage lorry driver taking the same route, after both the colony residents and the civic body officials decided on a changed route via ECIL, following a recent accident in which two students were killed.
Kapra: Residents of Saibabanagar staged a dharna on Friday after they found a GHMC garbage lorry driver taking the same route, after both the colony residents and the civic body officials decided on a changed route via ECIL, following a recent accident in which two students were killed.
When the lorry driver took the same old route on the way to the Jawaharnagar dumping yard via Jammiguda, Saibabanagar, Dammaiguda, the residents forced him to go back.
In their response, the GHMC officials stated that they would solve the problems of the garbage lorry drivers. Among those who took part in the dharna were Saibabanagar Ward Member Srikanth Goud and residents of Badruddin Colony.
