Hyderabad: Bank of Maharashtra, Hyderabad Zone, conducted Customer Outreach Programme on Tuesday and Wednesday. The programme was organised as a GoI initiative to reach out to MSME, retail and agri customers with various loan offerings.

The programme was attended by G Kishan Reddy, Minister of State for Home Affairs. He interacted with all the participating banks, visiting customers including many SHG women beneficiaries. Taking note of many initiatives of GoI with regard to the financial inclusion and the product offerings, he congratulated Bank of Maharashtra for organising such a programme in Hyderabad.

During the program, 29 stalls were set up by public sector banks, NBFCs, MFI, UIDAI & minorities department and officers were available to explain all loan product features and financial inclusion initiatives of GoI.

Banks sanctioned loans amounting to Rs312.86 crores to the customers during the two-day programme and sanction letters were delivered to the beneficiaries through the hands of Kishan Reddy, and Subrata Das, RD, RBI-Hyderabad, and senior bankers.

Amita Bindroo, Dy Director, UIDAI, Pavan Kumar, GM, DIC, Divesh Dinkar, Suryakant Sawant, P Sriniwas, Rama Naik and dignitaries from different banks and controlling heads were present.
