Residents fume over sewage overflow

Safilguda: The residents of the Sri Krishna Nagar Colony have been facing serious overflow of sewage water for the past one-and-a-half month. They face inconvenience as the sewage water gets accumulated in front of their houses and sometimes the drain water penetrates into houses.

"Suresh", a resident, said that the GHMC workers need to clean-up sewages regularly in the colony, but they ignore it and due to heavy rains, the condition of the colony becomes worst. The motorists and the commuters find it difficult to travel from this road. "We have given a memorandum to the GHMC Officals on the present issue, but there has been no response from officials yet."
