Residents urged to construct rainwater harvesting structures

Chilkanagar: President of 25 colonies in the Chilkanagar division Bannala Praveen on Tuesday appealed to residents of the colonies to extend their cooperation in the construction of rain water harvesting structures.

After inspecting the ongoing construction of water harvesting structures, he stressed the need for conserving and saving water sources and ensuring that rain water is not wasted.

Praveen stated that already 14 rain water harvesting structures have been completed in the division with the cooperation of the residents of the colonies, while ten are under various stages. He said that steps would be taken so as to make sure that water harvesting structures are built in every house for preserving rain water.
