Road state worsens, turns slushy

Madhapur: While all roads in the neighborhood were free of water-logging, the roads of Vittal Rao Nagar had to bear the brunt of the recent rains. The residents say that the problem is due to the road not being laid for a couple of years.

The entire street was water-logged and after the water receded, the road turned muddy and filled with garbage due to which commuting on the roads became difficult.

A local shared, "The roads have become slushy and slippery it is very risky for someone to commute. Motorists and pedestrians who try to cross roads are at of slipping and falling down. The stretch has turned very risky for the residents."
