Rs 5,380-crore budget proposed for 2020-21

Hyderabad: GHMC introduced the draft budget of financial year 2020-21in standing committee meeting held on Thursday. The draft budget proposed is Rs 5,380 crore, out of which Rs 1,593 crore was proposed to major projects. Later, they took some decisions in the meeting regarding trade licences.

Mayor Bonthu Rammohan directed the meeting. Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, standing committee members Cherku Sangeetha, Mohammad Abdul Rahman, Mohammad Mustafa Ali, Mohammad Misbah Uddin, M Mamata, Ekkela Chaitanya Kanna, Mohammad Akhil Ahmed, Sheik Ameed, Sabena Begum, R Sirisha and others officials were present. The proposed budget for 2020-21 will be discussed by standing committee members and approved before December 10.
