Seri Lingampally: RTC JAC workers continued their protest for 18th day. As a part of their protest, they reached Miyapur bus depot and requested RTC temporary drivers and conductors by giving flowers to support their protest.

Speaking there, RTC employees said, "There are nearly 7000 posts to be filled in RTC. If you support us, we will fight with the government to allot those posts to temporary drivers a nd make them permanent." They further added, "Government is diverting the protest by using temporary drivers and conductors. If you continue working, these posts will never get permanent."

K Rajendar, Bikshapathy Bhaskar, Rajababu, Dargayya, Shankar, R Raju, SS Goud, Kishore Babu, Balaswamy, Srinivas, Nagaraju, Pandu Ravindar, Kalidas, Papayya, Rukmini, Sujatha, Kalapana and others were present.

Miyapur division police arrested them and took them into custody. BJP leader Gyanendra Prasad, after getting knowledge of the issue met RTC employees in the police station with Rajasekhar and other activists and conveyed solidarity to them.

Speaking there, Gyanendra Prasad said, "We should not get worried about the police behavior and government negligence in this issue. BJP party will fight for the demands of RTC employees until they are fulfilled."
