Hyderabad : After a two week hiatus, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao spent a busy Sunday at Pragathi Bhavan reviewing various pending issues and taking decisions before the year ends. The Chief Minister on Sunday gave his nod to the release of pending Rythu Bandhu to benefit 60 lakh farmers from Monday.

The other major issue job mela, new PRC for government employees, irrigation, education and finance related issues would be taken up in the series of review meetings organised in the next four days.

The government would spend Rs 7,515 crore under the cash incentive scheme in the current Yasangi (kharif )season. The CM wanted every farmer to avail the benefit of the scheme and the officials were asked to complete the cash distribution through online by January 2021.

"The finalisation of the revised budget estimation of the 2020-2021 financial year is being given priority as the three quarters of the current financial year will end on December 31. The issue of the PRC finalisation for government employees is also under active consideration," said a source.

The government will wind up all the pending issues, including a decision on opening of educational institutions and submission of DPRs (detailed project report) of the major irrigation projects, including Kaleshwaram to the Union Government in the next three to four days.

The Irrigation officials have been asked to come with the details of the DPRs of all projects taken up after the formation of Telangana. Union Minister for Jal Shakthi Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had recently asked the TS government to furnish the details of DPRs after the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh lodged a complaint with the Centre against the Telangana projects.
