Saifabad: Man can destroy nature at his own peril

Saifabad: Telangana State BC Commission Chairman B S Ramulu on Wednesday called for efforts to protect the nature, as man's desire to gain an upper hand over it would result in destruction. He was speaking after releasing a book 'Avani Philosophy of Nature' by prominent poet Jaya Raju with stress on enhancing green cover and the nature. Several writers, literary figures, artists and environmentalists were present.

"There should be a change in the concept and thinking of man that he can challenge the nature and score over it, which results in his own destruction," Ramulu observed. The speakers pointed out that all living beings had equal right to life. The writer said there was a need for understanding the bond between the nature and man. He stated that the man formed a part of the nature and life should be enjoyed while appreciating natural beauty and the lives of other beings.
