Vidyadhan Scholarship Program is being implemented in the states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Hyderabad: The Sarojini Damodar Foundation (SDF), which was founded by Kumari Shibulal and SD Shibulal (Infosys co-founder) in 1999 with the objective of bringing about societal changes through education, provides financial assistance every year to meritorious students who are financially backward. So far, the foundation has provided financial assistance to 3,500 students and gave scholarships to 13,000 students.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program is being implemented in the states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Applications are sought from the meritorious students of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana State whose annual income is below Rs 2 lakh. The students who secured more than 90 per cent or 9 CGPA in SSC or 10th class in 2019 are eligible to apply for scholarships.

Disabled students are eligible if they secure more than 75 per cent of 7.5 CGPA. The candidates selected for the scholarships would get scholarship of Rs 6,000 every year for their Intermediate education. Based on their merit, the candidates would also get scholarship from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 every year for their higher studies.
