Sewage overflow causes hardships to residents

Manikonda: Overflow of sewage has become a common sight in Chitrapuri Colony, Manikonda. It has been causing hardships to the locals traveling from this area. M Siddhartha, a local, said, "The stagnated sewage water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes giving rise to their peopulation.

As the sewage water gets accumulated in front of houses, it is becoming very difficult to travel from that area." Despite several complaints, no concrete step has been initiated by the officials concerned, they rued.
