Sewage overflow irks locals, commuters

Jeedimetla: The residents of Sai Baba Colony, Jeedimetla, are having to put up with overflow of sewage water on road. which has been causing unpleasantness to locals and commuters in this area.

K Ravi, a local resident, said they had complained that the drain over was brimming for past several days and that the situation worsening day by day, resulting in accumulation of sewage water on the main road. Motorists and the commuters alike are facing problems to travel this stretch.

This has come to such a pass that the dirty water is accumulating in front of houses too. Despite several complaints, both oral and written, to officials concerned, no concrete steps have been taken till date.
