Sewage overflow rankles people

West Venkatapuram: The residents of this area have been suffering serious hardships due to overflow of sewage water for the past 5 days. They fear outbreak of diseases as mosquito menace is spreading fast.

One Surrender said that due to extensive waterlogging, mosquito menace increased in this area and it was also giving out foul smell. Despite several complaints – verbal, message through social media – to authorities concerned, no action has been initiated so far, the locals deplored.a
