Top central official lauds zoo staff

Bahadurpura: MS Negi, Additional Director General (Environment, Forest and Climate Change), Government of India, visited Nehru Zoological Park here on Wednesday.

N Kshitija, Curator, welcomed the official and accompanied him around the zoo. She explained the management practices at the Hyderabad zoo and showed him Safari Park, Zoo Veterinary Hospital, Feed Store and Mouse Deer Breeding Centre and animal enclosures and night houses.

The ADG appreciated the efforts of zoo staff in animal health care, maintenance of zoo park, visitor amenities etc. He lauded the maintenance of Mouse Deer Breeding Centre and held that it was a pride of Nehru Zoological Park, as well as the Union Ministry of Forests.
