Toshiba AITUC wing gets new president
Toshiba AITUC Karmika Sangham on Sunday elected G Sanjiva Reddy, all-India head of AITUC, as its president. Addressing a meeting of the union here, he pledged to be with the Toshiba workmen of the Rudaram unit.
Patancheru: Toshiba AITUC Karmika Sangham on Sunday elected G Sanjiva Reddy, all-India head of AITUC, as its president. Addressing a meeting of the union here, he pledged to be with the Toshiba workmen of the Rudaram unit.
Addressing the meeting, AITUC district unit president Narsimha Reddy stated that HMS former president Ch Prasad, M S Pradhan(general secretary), Eswar Rao(working president)along with other leaders Nageswara Rao, Yellayya, Jatak, Sudhakar, 'Electrical' Raju, Kondal Rao had joined AITUC . He said that Sanjiva Reddy welcomed them into the organisation.
Sanjiva Reddy told the meeting that he had been running over 6,000 trade unions within and outside the country during the last 70 years. He pledged to fight for the cause of Toshiba Karmika Sangh/AITUC workers, while claiming that AITUC alone was capable of solving their problems. Later, he was felicitated by Toshiba workers. Among those present were TU leaders Chandramouli, Krishnayya, Ravi Naik, Samrat.
