City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday notified traffic regulations in Secunderabad in order to facilitate proper control and smooth movement of vehicular traffic in connection with “Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu jatara” from 0400 hours on July 21 to 2200 hours on July 22.
Secunderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday notified traffic regulations in Secunderabad in order to facilitate proper control and smooth movement of vehicular traffic in connection with "Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu jatara" from 0400 hours on July 21 to 2200 hours on July 22.
On July 21 from 4 am till conclusion of the festival, the road leading to Mahankali Temple from Tobacco Bazar, Hill Street and General Bazar in Secunderabad will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
Subash Road starting from Bata crossroads up to Ramgopalpet police station will remain closed for all vehicular traffic. Similarly, the road leading to Mahankali Temple from Advaiah crossroads in Secunderabad and the road leading to Mahankali Temple from General Bazar will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
The Commissioner said the general traffic and RTC Buses coming from Karbala Maidan will be diverted at Ranigunj crossroads towards Minister Road, Rasoolpura Crossroads, CTO, SBH Crossroads, YMCA Crossroads, St John's Rotary, Gopalapuram Lane and railway station.
RTC Buses return from Railway Station towards Tank bund will pass through Alfa Hotel X Roads, Gandhi X Roads, Sajjanlal Street, Old Tr.P.S.Mahankali, Ghasmandi, Bible house and Karbala Maidan.
RTC buses returning from railway station towards Tadban and Begumpet will pass through Clock Tower, Patny X Roads, YMCA X Roads and SBH X Roads. General traffic coming from Bible house will be diverted at Ghasmandi X Roads towards Sajjanlal Street and Hill Street.
General Traffic coming from SBH X Roads towards RP Road will be diverted at Patny X Roads towards Clock Tower and Paradise. General traffic coming from Paradise towards RP Road will be diverted at Patny X Roads towards SBH or Clock Tower.
General traffic coming from Clock Tower towards RP Road will be diverted at Patny X Roads towards SBH X Roads and Paradise. General Traffic coming from CTO Junction towards MG Road will be diverted at Paradise X Roads towards HDFC Bank, Sindhi Colony, Minister Road, Ranigunj X Roads and Karbala Maidan. Traffic coming from Patny X Roads will be diverted at Paradise X Roads towards CTO Junction.
On July 22 from 2 pm to 10 pm
The road between Secunderabad Railway Station towards St.Mary's Road will be closed for all vehicular traffic. All buses proceeding towards Secunderabad Railway Station from Hakeempet, Bowenpally, Balanagar and Ameerpet will be terminated at Clock Tower and they will return to their destinations
on the same route i.e., Via Patny, SBH X Roads. For those coming from St Johns Rotary, Sweekar Upkar and SBH side, they should park their vehicles at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan and Mahboobia College.
For the vehicles coming from Karbla Maidan, Bible House, Ghansmandi side will park their vehicles in Islamia High School For the vehicles coming from Ranigunj, Adaiah X Roads side, drivers shall park vehicles in Govt Adaiah Memorial High School, Adaiah X Roads, Ranigunj, Secunderabad.
Vehicles coming from Subhash Road side should be parked at Old Jailkhana open place. The vehicles coming from Manju Theater side will should be parked in Anjali Theater Lane. (NSS)
