Traffic light defunct at Balanagar Junction

Balanagar: Commuters plying from Bowenpally towards Balanagar Junction are facing the problem as traffic signal is not working at Balanagar junction, that is the reason the commuters are facing difficulty to travel from this road.

Due to malfunctioning of the traffic signals, vehicles coming from three directions of the road cross the junction at the same time that leads to traffic chaos. This road is one of the busiest roads in the city, as it is linked to various areas like Kukatpally, Moosapet, and IDPL. Also, this stretch road is packed with various, convention Hall, small and big commercial sectors.

Ramesh Babu, a commuter, said that traffic lights had been installed here but are still lying non-functional and no one is there to monitor the situation and this has become very common sight over here and the situation is becoming worst day by day.

He also said that as the signals are not working and sometimes because of the auto drivers haphazardly park their vehicles, it is becoming difficult to travel. Many locals and commuters over here have complained to the authorities concerned about this issue, but no action has been taken yet.
