Minister KTR answered a question asked by members during question hour. KTR said the TRS government would carry out any program as planned. He said the SRDP was being implemented only after discussing on traffic issues for three years.

Traffic has become a major problem in Hyderabad with overcrowded vehicles. He said 22 flyovers have been completed in the first phase of SRDP at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore and was focusing on the Greater suburbs. He reminded that Nala development works are going on in LB Nagar alone with Rs 850 crore. "Every rupee spent is for the development of the state; every location in Hyderabad is connected to the flyover-link road," KTR said.

Minister KTR said that construction work of roads worth Rs. 1545 crore is underway in Charminar and South zones. He reminded that development and economic activities would take place with the construction of new roads. He explained that the government will also get revenue in the future. He said the second phase SRDP plans have been completed.
