Musheerabad: Tammineni Veerabhadram, CPM state secretary, warned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that any attempt to privatise RTC would lead to public anger. He was addressing RTC employees of Musheerabad bus depot 2 who were staging protest in front of the depot on Monday.

Expressing solidarity with striking employees, the CPM leader condemned egoistic attitude of the State government for not calling the striking employees for talks despite High Court instructions to initiate measures to resolve the strike. He assured full support to striking employees on behalf of his party. He said that lakhs of the party activists would participate in 'Sakala Janula Samara Bheri' to be held on October 30.

Reminding KCR that he was democratically elected as CM, Chada Venkat Reddy, the CPI state leader, advised the CM to fulfil the aspirations of the people, instead of acting as dictator. He demanded that the CM take necessary measures to resolve the strike at the earliest.

CPM leaders Narsimha Rao, B Venkat, Dasharath, Ramulu, RTC JAC co-convener Raji Reddy, IFTU leader Suryam, New Democracy leader Jhansi, CITU city president Eshwar Rao, and large number of RTC employees along with their family members participated in the protest.
