The Southern Region Headquarters of NTPC has been conducting Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 till November 2, with the theme of 'Integrity- A Way of Life.'

Secunderabad: The Southern Region Headquarters of NTPC has been conducting Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 till November 2, with the theme of 'Integrity- A Way of Life.' The regional HQ launched "Integrity Clubs" in three government high schools, three government junior colleges as well as Arts College, Osmania University, and School of Management Studies, JNTU, Hyderabad.

Speaking at the programme, D K Dubey, Regional Executive Director (South), said the formation of 'Integrity Clubs' is not only to promote integrity and eradicate corruption with public participation but also to instill values like honesty, integrity, responsibility, patriotism, unity, non-violence, respect, compassion, tolerance etc. among the students. He administered the Integrity Pledge to the employees of SRHQ on the occasion.

M Gopalakrishnan (IAS retd), delivered a lecture on 'Live and Work with Integrity,' at a seminar organised at NTPC office. Swamy Buddhinanandaji, a monk from Ramakrishna Mission, also spoke on 'Integrity – A way of Life.' NTPC organized various competitions amongst high school and college students as part of Vigilance Awareness Week. A large number of NTPC employees and students attended the programme.
