World Pharmacist Day celebrated at Mehdipatnam
The World Pharmacist Day was celebrated on September 25 at G Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy in Mehdipatnam. On the occasion, the college honoured eminent pharmacists in recognition of their services to the society.

Dr B Madhava Reddy, principal, welcomed the gathering and explained the theme of the day 'safe & effective medicines for all'. Later, Dr CK Kokate, who attended as the chief guest, in his key-note address informed about the irrational combination of drugs in fixed dose formulations.
On this occasion, the college conducted essay writing and elocution competitions for students and prizes were distributed to the winners. Later, senior pharmacists Mohammed Chand Pasha, Care Hospitals, Nampally, and Laxmi Narasimha Swami, ESI Hospital, were felicitated.
