Zinda Dalan proves a laugh riot
On the foundation day of Zinda Dalan Hyderabad (ZDH) – a forum to promote “banter and burlesque” through humorous symposiums, saw yet another night of audience burst into laughing till the death of the night on Monday.

Organised in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Culture, this spectacular night saw the gamut and grinning reach to a zenith with All India Humorous Symposium burst at the seams with humorous poets from across the country.
Inaugurating the symposium, Home Minister Md Mahmood Ali praised the services of ZDH and said the programmes organised by the forum, were always well received by the audience, irrespective of religious and literary boundaries.
A rhymester from Mahboobnagar, Chacha Palmori made the audience scream in joy with his rendition. Waheed Pasha Quadri, Nishter Amrohi, Mukhtar Yousufi, Tipical Jagtiyali, Sardaar Asar, Sunil Kumar Tang, Asad Raza, Kailash Bhinde, Shaikh Ahmed Ziya, Najeeb Ahmed Najeeb, Dr.Aleem Khan Falki, Shahed Adeeli, Zaheer Qudai, (Malegoan), Feroz Rasheed, Dr.Rafat Ali Rafat displayed their creative humorous work at the symposium cheering up the audience.
Later on Rasheeduddin, Prof Baig Ahsaas and Farooq Shakeel were felicitated for their literary work. Earlier on Sunday night at Ravindra Bharti, the audience burst into laughter during 'Adabi ijlas', which saw a gathering of humorous poets from across the country.
Striking a chord during his speech, president Zinda Dalan Hyderabad (Retired IAS), Muhammed Ali Rafat, said former AP chief secretary Narender Luther has bestowed Zinda Dalan a honour globally by organizing world humour conference that remains unparalleled till date.
Editor of a monthly magazine Shagufta Syed Mustafa Kamaal also placed his gratitude for Faiz Ahmed Faizi for launching his new book. Nawab Qadir Ali Khan and Lakshmi Devi Raj were among other dignitaries presented at the occasion.
Praising the organisers, former Director & Secretary Telangana Urdu Academy, Prof. SA Shakoor said "Zinda Dalan is known for "poetry with wit and humor" all over the world. It has played a major role in the promotion of such poetry and many stalwarts having associated with the literary body.
