Khammam: Continuing the war of words further, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Sunday came down heavily on the BJP and its State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

After inaugurating integrated vegetarian and non-vegetarian market near Nagarjuna Sagar Project camp office along with Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Ajay Kumar expressed anger against the

BJP leaders and challenged Bandi Sanjay Kumar to prove the allegations, which he made two days ago in Khammam, if he has courage.

Referring to Bandi Sanjay's statement that he would see Minister Ajay's end after coming to power in the State in 2023, Ajay said, "I don't have the patience to wait till 2023. If Sanjay wants to see my end, put me in jail now as his party is in power at the Centre."

He alleged that BJP leaders have no work and trying to mudsling on the TRS to get at least four corporator seats in the upcoming municipal corporation elections. "I am committed to values and never resorted to corruption. Also, I never tried to get personal benefits from the government or from any one," he stated.

The Minister questioned the BJP leaders, why they have merged seven mandals of Telangana into Andhra Pradesh and why steel factory was not constructed in Bayyaram as mentioned during State Bifurcation Act and why Khammam town was not included in Smart City programme. Later, both the Ministers have participated in District Cooperative Central Bank sentinel celebrations and inaugurated Rythu Vedika at several places in the district.

MP Nama Nageswara Rao, MLAs Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and Ramulu Naik, District Collector RV Karnan and other officers participated in the programme.
