Don't let development works stall due to sand scarcity and delay in land acquisition, District Collector C Narayana Reddy directed the authorities concerned and told them to address any such minor hurdles immediately.
Nizamabad: Don't let development works stall due to sand scarcity and delay in land acquisition, District Collector C Narayana Reddy directed the authorities concerned and told them to address any such minor hurdles immediately.
He held a cell conference on the development of MP Lads, CDP, SDF, Rurban works with the officials concerned from his chamber here on Monday. Expressing concern over the delay in the construction of some development works from 2014-15 financial year, the Collector directed the authorities to discuss with the people's representatives and complete these works expeditiously. He directed RDOs and tahsildars to take immediate action, especially if there is a problem of land acquisition.
He directed to send sand to the development site within a week starting from Tuesday (November 17) and the works should also start from Tuesday. He warned of taking legal action against contractors if they divert sand meant for government development works to others.
The Collector directed that land, labour and sand problems should be resolved immediately and 100 per cent work should be started and any kind of works sanctioned from MP lads, CDP or other funds should be continued in all villages.
Reddy directed the officials concerned to complete the construction works of Rythu Vedika and grain drying platforms by December 15. 'All information requested by the officers should be provided immediately on WhatsApp groups of the concerned departments and district officials should read the messages and respond immediately.' He said. Information needed to resolve issues should be posted immediately.
