Nizamabad: Depressed after the school denied admission, a girl and her mother staged a protest for several hours in front of Bodhan Minority Residential School on Thursday.

The girl, Pallavi, is the daughter of Surender and Uma from Ootupalli village. Uma said that Pallavi had completed fourth class in her native village and the authorities of Bodhan Minority Residential School offered a seat in fifth class in the school. The girl's parents, though financially poor, bought a smart phone to her and the girl even attended for classes.

After a few days, the School authorities informed Pallavi that she was not admitted in the school. With this, both the girl and her parents were depressed.

Both mother and daughter staged a dharna in front of the school demanding justice. Uma said that the school management itself came forward and gave the seat and now, after the girl attended a few classes, they were denying the seat to her.

She further said that school officials had insulted the girl by saying that Pallavi did not get a seat in front of her classmates. District Collector, Education Minister or Chief Minister, who will take the responsibility if Pallavi loses academic year? girl's mother questioned.
