CM KCR tricked people: Chitoori Ashok

Warangal: The State Government led by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people, the Telugu Yuvatha State General Secretary Chitoori Ashok said. Leading a contingent to participate in the Telugu Desam's Maha Dharna at Indira Park in Hyderabad to highlight the failures of the TRS Government on Thursday, he accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of betraying people by not fulfilling their aspirations, after coming to power.

"The TRS Government shattered the dreams of people who expected better life if Telangana was achieved," Ashok said.

He alleged that KCR pushed revenue-surplus Telangana into a debt trap. KCR ignored his own promises, like three acres land to Dalits, double bedroom houses to poor, fee reimbursement and free education from KG to PG, etc, he said. KCR, very often, who played the card of Telangana sentiment, hoodwinked the people, Ashok alleged. However, the people who are aware of his designs will not fall to his guiles every time, he said.

Later, Ashok flagged of the vehicles heading to participate in the dharna in Hyderabad. Senior TDP leaders Baba Khader Ali, Margam Sarangapani, Mukkirala Janardhan Rao, Bhukya Naresh Naik, Gabbeta Rajaiah, Vallepu Srinivas, Kandukuri Naresh, Pittala Srinivas, Nalla Ravi, Bathini Ramesh Goud, S Rajamouli, Erukala Linga Reddy, Vickey, Elagandula Ravinder Gupta, and Kagitala Jayashankar were among others present.

It may be mentioned here that TDP State leadership led by L Ramana gave a call to its cadres to participate in the dharna in Hyderabad.
