'KCR's misdeeds exposed': Tarun Chugh
BJP national general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh asserts that BJP is committed to dethrone the corrupt TRS and there is no secret pact between the two parties
Warangal: The aspirations of people remained unfulfilled, BJP national general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh said, accusing the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of reaping the harvest of separate Telangana alone. In a chit chat with the media persons, here, on Saturday, he and BJP State president Bandi Sanjay dwelt at length about the governance in Telangana.
"The BJP is committed to dethrone the corrupt TRS and there is no secret pact between the two parties," Chugh said. KCR, who never went to Secretariat, is one of the most inefficient Chief Ministers that the nation ever had, he added. Chugh said that KCR siphoned off the Central funds besides evading credit to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that KCR is greedy and wants to take credit for everything.
KCR's family rule is on in Telangana and they are plundering the resources in the State, Chugh alleged stating that TRS government had totally failed to fulfill the aspirations of people. People have come of age and realised the true colours of KCR and it's a matter of time that they teach a fitting lesson to him.
Bandi Sanjay said that corruption is rampant in the State under the rule of KCR. "After assuming power, the BJP will look into the misdeeds of the TRS leaders," Sanjay said.
Referring to the ensuing elections to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), he said that the BJP will win hands down. In a bid to protect his MLAs, KCR went to Delhi and met Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he said stating that a good number of TRS leaders are ready to embrace the BJP.
BJP has no soft corner towards the TRS, Sanjay said, refuting the rumours intentionally spread by some vested interests. Earlier, Chugh and Sanjay had overseen the party's preparations for the upcoming elections to the Graduate Constituency (Council) and GWMC. Former MLA Marthineni Dharma Rao, State general secretary G Premender Reddy, former MP A P Jithender Reddy, former MLA E Peddi Reddy and Warangal Urban district president Rao Padma were among others present.
