There is a hidden agenda between the TRS and the BJP to bury the Congress in the State, Warangal DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy said.

Warangal: There is a hidden agenda between the TRS and the BJP to bury the Congress in the State, Warangal DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy said. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, he said that both the TRS and BJP have done nothing for the people. There is an imperative need to explain about it to the people, he added.

"TRS has supported the BJP's mis-governance on many occasions. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was the first one to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's anti-people moves such as demonetisation, GST etc. It indicates that both the parties were hand-in-glove with each other," Reddy said

and added that the TRS has pact with both the 'communal'

parties – BJP and MIM – for its political mileage.

"Why KCR, who time and again reiterates Bangaru Telangana, didn't oppose the Centre's farm bills even though he was well aware of the fact that the bills are detrimental to the interests of the farmers," the DCC President questioned. TRS' silence over the farm bills indicates that it has an understanding with the BJP, he alleged. Reddy recalled that the BJP's oldest ally Shiromani Akali Dal had also opposed the farm bills.

Referring to the floods in Warangal in mid-August, Reddy criticised the government for not giving a helping hand to the flood-affected. The Congress workers distributed food packets to the flood-affected, he added. Reddy demanded a white paper on Rs 25 crore relief to the flood-affected announced by the MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao.

"With an eye on elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the government has announced Rs 10,000 monetary help to each household, which suffered in the recent floods," Reddy alleged, demanding same relief to the flood-affected in Warangal.

The development of Warangal took a backseat due to the mis-governance of TRS, the DCC chief said, daring the ruling party to tell what kind of development it had achieved.

Reddy accused the BJP of spreading misinformation in Dubbaka Assembly by-poll. The by-poll also clarified that people were against the TRS, he stated.

Senior leaders Namindla Srinivas, B Srinivas Rao and EV Srinivas Rao were among others present.
