45 lakh worth gold, silver bars seized at Sec'bad railway station
Secunderabad Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested two persons on platform number 6, for possessing gold and silver bars worth Rs 45 lakh without proper documents.
Hyderabad: Secunderabad Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested two persons on platform number 6, for possessing gold and silver bars worth Rs 45 lakh without proper documents. According to G Ashok Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Railway Police Secunderabad, they seized ten gold biscuits each weighing 10 grams each and altogether weighing 1 kg and 16 silver bars weighing 30 Kg from the possession of Vishal Raja Ram Varma (30) and Nikhil Govinda Verma (26), both natives of Nanded Town of Maharashtra and working in a local jewellery shop in Nanded.
The accused were caught when they reached Secunderabad Railway station in Jaipur Express. The police seized the property and registered a case under sections 102 CrPC of RPS Secunderabad and informed the Income Tax officials.
