Law student gang-raped in Bareilly court complex

Bareilly: In a horrific incident, a woman law student was allegedly gang-raped after her fellow associates drugged her at Bareilly court complex. The crime came into light when the victim approached the police station.

According to the sources, The incident happened at the chamber of a senior lawyer Roop Kishor after the student was drugged. The accused identified as Babloo, who also recorded an obscene video of her.

The woman is a resident of Baheri area. On the incident, the victim reached the police station and lodged a complaint. In her statement, she alleged that she was drugged and then raped by the two accused.

On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and initiated the investigation. The accused mixed the sedative in the victim's soft drink, and as she went into an unconscious state, they took turns to rape her.

As the woman did not reach home, the worried parents reached the court and found her in an unconscious state. Four days later, the victim disclosed the matter with her parents. The angry family members went to the lawyer's chamber in the court and thrashed the accused in public.
