Student gives birth to child in washroom in Maharashtra

In a freak incident, an 18-year-old girl gives birth to a child inside a hostel washroom at Sakri town in Dhule district of Maharashtra. According to the police, this incident happened at Savitribai Phule Adivasi girls hostel washroom, where the girl left the newborn in a bucket. The hostel warden heard the cry of the child, and she found the child in the toilet and immediately informed the police.

During the police investigation, no one came forward to claim the child. Then a suspicious student was taken to the medical examination, which confirmed that the child belongs to her. On the incident, the police registered a case and investigating further.
