Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, two people died in a road accident when their bike collided with a parked lorry. This accident happened on the Shidlaghatta flyover on the International airport road near Devanahalli in Bengaluru.

The deceased identified as YG Srihari (27), a resident of Girinagar and HM Madhu (27), of Mandya. With the impact of the collision, Madhu lost his life on the spot, and Srihari died on the way to the hospital.

According to the police, a group of friend on three bikes and a car had set off on a trek to Lepakshi in AP and started from Bengaluru in the early hours. After stopping for breakfast near the airport, they continued their ride.

Srihari was riding a Harley Davidson bike, and Madhu was riding pillion. As they were speeding, the motorcycle lost control and rammed into a stationary lorry, which was broken down on the road.

On receiving the information, the police reached the accident site, registered a case, and shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Chikkaballapura, which were later handed over to the family members after the post-mortem.
