Woman phone thief held

Hyderabad: The LB Nagar police on Tuesday arrested a woman offender and recovered four smart phones all worth Rs 3.40 lakh. According to police, the accused A Bhanu Aravinda Chowdary (24), a resident of Saroornagar was arrested while moving in suspicious circumstances at LB Nagar X Road. The accused is eking out livelihood by Tupperware marketing.

She hatched a plan to cheat online sellers through OLX app and committed theft of smart phones. Based on the complaint by K Mahesh, a resident of Abdullapurmet on April 21, stating that the accused has cheated him by saying that she would purchase his I-Phone at Shatavahana Nagar colony in LB Nagar but absconded by taking his phone.
