45-year-old man thrashed by local residents for cheating

On Wednesday, a shocking incident had occurred, as a 45-year-old man was tied to a pillar and bashed up by the local residents of a village for allegedly cheating some villagers by taking money on the pretext of getting them jobs.

The residents of the Adeeg village which falls under the tehsil of Govardhan, from the district of Mathura in UP, had also partially tonsured Manoj Kumar. On social media a video of this incident went viral. Despite of informing the police and registering an FIR, the residents decided to punish the man on their own terms.
