6 killed, 19 injured after bus falls into river in Madhya Pradesh

Around six people were killed including a kid and 19 others injured after a bus fell into Richhan river at Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh on early hours on Thursday.

The mishap took place when the bus belonging to Om Sai Travels was on its way to Chhatarpur district from Indore via Bhopal. Rescue teams rushed to the spot on learning the mishap. However, tracing the bodies have got difficult to the rescue teams due to the heavy inflow, said the district collector.

Meanwhile, the injured were shifted to a hospital in Raisen for treatment. The bus had 40-45 passengers when the mishap occurred.
