A warm display of brother-sister love and exchange of banter was on display as Congress president Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi crossed paths at Kanpur airport while heading for their respective campaign rallies in UP.
New Delhi: A warm display of brother-sister love and exchange of banter was on display as Congress president Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi crossed paths at Kanpur airport while heading for their respective campaign rallies in UP.
''Was nice meeting Priyanka at Kanpur Airport! We're headed to different meetings in UP,'' Rahul said in a facebook post.
A video shared by Rahul on facebook showed that he was on his way to his constituency Amethi for campaigning when he saw his sister Priyanka, who was headed to a different meeting.
Not being able to resist his big brotherly love, he hugged her.
After the two had exchanged greetings, Rahul, all of a sudden, came close to the camera to tell what it was like to be a brother.
"Let me tell you, what it means to be a good brother. I am going on a massive, massive ride but I have got a small helicopter, and Priyanka is going on a really small ride, but she has got a big helicopter," Rahul said while Priyanka kept on smiling.
The Congress president and his sister Priyanka will be in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday as campaigning for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections ends on Saturday.
While Rahul Gandhi will hold public gatherings in his own constituency Amethi and Rae Bareli, which is the Lok Sabha seat of his mother and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, his sister Priyanka will hold roadshows in Unnao and Barabanki.
