Coronavirus Alert: 15 Italian Tourists In India Test Positive
15 of the 21 Italian tourists detained on arrival into India, tested positive for novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
New Delhi: 15 of the 21 Italian tourists detained on arrival into India, tested positive for novel coronavirus (Covid-19). With this, the total number of positive cases of Covid-19 in India has now touched 18.
The samples of 15 of the 21 tourists who landed from Italy tested positive and all of them have been shifted to an isolation facility built by the ITBP at Manesar. The novel Coronavirus has infected more than 90,000 people globally and has claimed at least 3000 lives.
The countries most affected by it or China, South Korea, Iran and Italy, with several other countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal and Vietnam is South-east Asia reporting instances.
