India's COVID-19 tally has now reached 3,43,091 as per the latest update put out on Monday morning by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 10,000 plus cases per day has become the new normal, in a worrying pattern.

There have been 9,900 deaths across the country, while there are 1,53,178 active cases across all states. 1,80,013 patients have been cured or discharged.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan contribute the most to the overall caseload in the country.

Maharashtra continues to bear the brunt of the coronavirus crisis with the state's COVID-19 count now climbing to 1,10,744. Maharashtra's death count has now mounted to 4,128, the highest for any state in the country and more than 40% of the country's fatalities.

Tamil Nadu also figures among the worst hit states with overall COVID-19 tally in the state now mounting to 46,504. Tamil Nadu has recorded 479 fatalities.

Delhi has been among the worst-affected states and recorded 42,829 coronavirus cases with a death count of 1,400.

Gujarat's COVID-19 count has now reached 24,055 with the death count going past 1,500 and climbing to 1505.

Uttar Pradesh has recorded 13,615 confirmed coronavirus cases and 399 deaths. The state's figures have not been update over the last 24 hours.

Rajasthan has reported 12,981 confirmed coronavirus patients so far with 301 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh has reported 10,935 confirmed COVID-19 cases with the total death count in the state now reaching 465.

West Bengal has so far reported 11,494 cases of coronavirus with 485 deaths.

Haryana has seen a spike in cases in recent days, with Gurugram being seen as one of the

emerging hotspots. The state's tally has now reached 7,722 with 100 deaths.

Karnataka has reported 7,213 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 89 deaths.
