The countrywide overall count of COVID-19 cases rose to 90,927 with 2872 deaths being reported, as per the data put out by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The countrywide overall count of COVID-19 cases rose to 90,927 with 2872 deaths being reported, as per the data put out by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 34109 patients have been discharged or cured. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh contribute the most to the COVID-19 cases in the country.

Maharashtra continues to report a high number of Coronavirus positive cases. The total number of COVID-19 in the state has now risen to 30,706 while the number of deaths stands at 1135. The number of patients who recovered in the state stands at 7088.

Gujarat has been reporting high numbers of coronavirus positive cases and has recorded close to 11,000 cases of COVID-19 so far. The current tally of coronavirus positive cases in the state has reached 10,988 with a high fatality rate of 625 deaths. 4,308 patients in the state have been cured or discharged.

Tamil Nadu has recorded 10,585 coronavirus positive cases with a very low fatality rate of 74. The number of recovered patients in the state has been reported that 3,538.

Delhi has reported 9,333 cases so far with 129 deaths and 3,926 cases of recovery.

Rajasthan has reported close to 5,000 COVID-19 cases with the current tally standing at 4,960. The state has recorded 126 deaths and 2,839 cases of recovery.

Madhya Pradesh has recorded 4,789 cases of COVID-19 with a high death count of 243. The number of patients who have been cured or discharged in the state stands at 2,315.

Uttar Pradesh has reported 4,258 cases of Coronavirus positive patients with 104 deaths. The number of patients who have been cured or discharged in the state has reached 2,441.
