New Delhi: More than 150 teachers working at various food-ration distribution centres in Delhi have become corona infected and around 400 teachers are quarantined in homes or centres these days. In view of this, various teacher organizations have said that when everything has been opened in Delhi, the government should remove the duty of teachers from the food-ration distribution centres.

Teachers engaged in food distribution in Delhi has died from Corona. In this regard, teacher organizations have now demanded the removal of teachers from duty. On the other hand, Kuldeep Khatri, president of Teachers Nyaya Manch, said that teachers are getting food-ration distribution works done, but they are being used to give them PPE kits or other security facilities. Corporation leaders have been constantly meeting on behalf of the teachers of the corporation. He said that teachers have written their letters to the LG of Delhi too, but no solution has been found from anywhere.

Declaration of not working on Monday Due to the large number of teachers getting corona infected and the North Delhi Municipal Corporation not getting a salary for the last three months, the teachers announced not to work on Monday. According to Kuldeep Khatri, president of Teachers Nyaya Manch Municipal Corporation, the teachers of the three corporations will be on a day's hunger strike.

Teacher corona positive in large numbers in all three corporations More than 150 teachers in all three corporations of Delhi have been found to be corona infected. Among them, 70 teachers have been found corona infected in North Delhi Municipal Corporation, 40 in East Delhi Municipal Corporation and more than 40 in South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
