Shimla: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur addressed public meetings in village Kharsi of Gram Panchayat Kharsi, village Deodhar of Gram Panchayat Majothi and village Kotla of Gram Panchayat Kotla Khanula of Seraj assembly constituency in Mandi district.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 10 lakh for the construction of community hall at Thachi, Rs. 2 lakh for Mahila Mandal building Upper Kharsi and Rs. 10 lakh for the construction of stage at Kharsi.

He also announced to provide Rs. 10 lakh for improvement of Odhidhar ground in Gram Panchayat Majhothi, Rs. 3 lakh for Mahila Mandal Building Dev Bala Tikka Bhungan and Rs. 3 lakh for building of Durga Mahila Mandal Salahar.

He announced to provide Rs. 5 lakh for Jagohi road, Rs. 5 lakh for Bhatta to lower Bhatta road and Rs. 5 lakh for Salahari-Ganesh Tandi road. He said that Kanungo circle would be established at Deodhar, an amount of Rs. 10 lakh would be sanctioned Dhaniman to Phaltu road and veterinary dispensary would be opened at Salahar. Chief Minister also directed the HRTC officers to complete all the formalities for starting a new bus service from Gohar to Janjehli.

Jai Ram Thakur also announced to sanction Rs. 2 lakh each for the buildings of 5 Mahila Mandal of Kotla Khanula Panchayat on availability of land and opening of Patwar Circle at Kotla.

He said that provision of adequate funds would be made for the building of High School Wahua and Senior Secondary School Dadoh.

Chief Minister also directed the officials to prepare the estimate of Lift Irrigation Scheme from Labah Khad to Kufri Dhar. Chief Minister said that the BJP government had established a direct contact with the people of the state and had resolved the problems of common people in time bound manner.

He said that Jan Manch had been organized at 256 places across the state and more than 55249 grievances of the public had been heard through this program and most of them were resolved on the spot.

He said that so far 4,42,764 complaints had been received through Mukhya Mantri Seva Sankalp Helpline – 1100 and out of these 4,29,012 complaints had been redressed.

He said that the State Government was providing free electricity to the domestic consumers up to the consumption of 125 units, free drinking water supply to rural consumers and 50 percent concession in fare to women in Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses.
