Promotional run to make Gurugram Marathon a hit
The promotional run was organized in various fields on Tuesday to connect more and more women to the state level marathon in Gurugram on the occasion of International Women's Day.
New Delhi/Gurugram: The promotional run was organized in various fields on Tuesday to connect more and more women to the state level marathon in Gurugram on the occasion of International Women's Day.
In the villages of the district, Bajgheda, Pataudi and DLF Sector-29, women raced to prepare themselves for the marathon. In addition, she also inspired other women to participate. So far, more than 33 thousand women have been registered for the marathon.
Promotional runs are being organized daily to include more and more women in the Gurugram Marathon-2020. Special officer of Chief Minister and Principal Secretary of Sports Department OP Singh says that women are getting registered for a marathon with enthusiasm.
He informed us that a promotional run is being conducted in different areas to motivate others to participate in the marathon. Registered women took part in this run. Other women were also encouraged to register on the website by wearing T-shirts designed for the marathon.
Kiosks also installed in Pataudi A kiosk was also set up in Pataudi to register women for marathon registration. Actually, women who are not able to register themselves can go and register at the kiosk.
Celebrities will participate in the marathon Actors Rajkumar Rao, Babita Faugat, Runner Ratna Verma, Jatin Arora, Shweta, Gurleen Arora, Gaurav Pant, Anchor Vineet Malhotra, etc are registering online for participating in the Gurugram Marathon via social media.
