It's proven beyond doubt with it's hunger for power, Congress was willing to join hands with Shiv Sena, which it has fought bitterly for four decades painting it as 'communal and non-secular'. However, in just a fortnight, Congress has caved in to greed for their original ideology of 'power at any cost'.
BJP stands vindicated with its ability to form a government which the voters of Maharashtra has mandated with a historic strike rate for the less number of seats it contested. BJP got 105 seats in the recent elections by itself for the 150 seats it contested.
Shivsena's greed for power will bring them down further as they experience the beginning of an end this morning. Brazenly violating a pre-poll alliance purely for greed of CM position will be quite expensive. Shiv Sena's ideological credentials also have been exposed in this fiasco before the people of Maharashtra.
BJP is certain that it along with NCP and other independents will be able to give a stable, strong and a democratic government for the entire tenure of 5 years in the state of Maharashtra.
