Seven killed, 20 injured as bus overturns in Karnataka

Bangalore: In a tragic incident, seven people killed as the private bus in which they were travelling overturned near Jetty Agrahara on Wednesday morning. At the time of the accident, the bus was heading to Koratagere from Tumakuru, and they were 40 passengers on board.

In the incident, seven people lost their lives and more than 20 sustained injuries, where three said to be in critical condition. According to eye witness information, the driver lost control of the bus when he tried to avoid the auto on the opposite side and over speed is the main reason for the accident. Over the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the victims to the local hospital for treatment.
